We are pleased to announce the return of the Cubit

We are pleased to announce the return of the Cubitt Maule Cup fixture to be hosted this year by HOLT RFC on Saturday May 22nd kick off 2.30pm. We have no doubt that a number of our supporters will wish to attend this much celebrated fixture and also anticipate that with lockdown restrictions being further eased from 17th May this will allow as many to attend as possible

We expect further guidance from Holt RFC on attendance protocols early next week. To help them and ourselves is estimating the attendance by West Norfolk, please notify our fixture secretary Keith Davis if it is your intention to attend by emailing or contacting Keith.

West Norfolk Under 11’s vs. Norwich & Diss – Played at Norwich Rugby Club 🏉

West Under 11’s returned to rugby with a bang this weekend, playing a double header against Norwich and Diss respectively.
These under 11’s are made up of a great mixture of pace and power, including our very own Girl Power! After a tight opener with Diss, Wests soon found their top form again, and turned on the style against Norwich, and again in the rematch with Diss. Some amazing cameo performances, with the team as a whole playing some wonderful flowing rugby, with the ruck and breakdown competitvely fought by all involved.

It was apparent that whilst the pandemic may have taken it’s toll in robbing West 11’s (and indeed all teams) of precious season game time, there was not shortage of commitment, style and passion from all of the players at West Norfolk Under 11’s!

This weekend will see friendly matches played across three sections against @dissrugbyclub

🗓 Saturday 19th the senior men travel to Diss for a 2pm kick off.

🗓Sunday 20th the ladies kick off (ready4rugby) at home at 11:30am followed by the Colts (U16/18) combined at 2:30pm.

Supporters are welcome at all matches. Please make sure you adhere to current travel guidelines.
