Minis

Our Mini Section caters for children of six years old (under 7s) up to 11 years old (under 12s). The club will allow children from the age of 5 to join and train with the under 7s but they cannot play matches until they are in the under 7 team (year 2 at school).

As with all of the Youth grades and ages, the focus for all Minis Rugby grades is to have fun, safely and in a friendly, disciplined environment, with coaches and organisers who are appropriately trained in safeguarding, First Aid and entry level rugby. Friendly competition is encouraged, but we would always gently encourage players and supporters that it is not (yet!) the Six Nations, and the focus is on learning teamwork, discipline, respect and all the other values inherent with this amazing game.

Training runs from September to April on Sundays from 9:30am to 11:00am for the Minis, with games also on Sundays.
